| Our Kids 'n Keys Classes Our Kids 'n Keys classes are awesome. Students ages 5, 6 & 7, with a partner, learn to play the piano, recorder (wind), and the tambourine (percussion). Session structure: Our Kids 'n Keys department is set up in four month sessions called LEVELS. Parents are to commit to the entire LEVEL at the start of the session. (Classes are not on-going.) Piano: The piano is the number one instrument for brain function enhancement. Kids 'n Keys is structured in different levels of study. Children learn to read and play the piano first hands apart then hands together. Singing is also incorporated, throughout. When your child plays piano and sings, no other activity that they may be involved in have a greater brain function enhancement. See Music works! Initial Material Kit: Your initial material kit includes: A canvas, embroidered- zippered book bag, the curriculum for Level One (flashcards, book, CD, HomePlay sheets), whiteboard kit, attendance book and supplemental notebook. New materials are required at the start of each LEVEL. This includes a new book, CD, flashcards, HomePlay Sheets and reward incentives. Other equipment may be required depending on the study for that session. e.g. recorder, metronome, etc. Session Enrollment Commitment: A Session Application is your commitment to each Kids 'n Keys level. Performing Skills are vital to good musicianship, so we perform on stage in formal events twice each year. We also perform weekly in class and 3 times annually in Performance Parties.
